We are installing Ai WeiWei's 'Study of Perspective (1995-2003)' this week. Part of PUBLIC: Collective Identity / Occupied Spaces. He documents giving the finger to famous international landmarks, no location escapes his condemnation - from Macchu Picchu, to the Coliseum in Rome, the White House, Tiananmen Square, the Eiffel Tower, 26 in total are equally dismissed by the artist. He implies participation by viewer in this act, just by seeing these images you are participating in Ai WeiWei's critique of power structures.
